The show definitely got screwed over too because it was supposed to have 22 episodes in Season 1 and Season 2. They would have been further along episode wise...but they probably would have still kept the same ridiculous compressed timeline.
There's about 2 months left before they start filming again. Still waiting for a firm start date.
