Took the kids to a bike path for a ride today. 🚴 It was windy 🌬 and dumping rain 🌧 when we arrived and we decided to ride anyway. It was glorious. We rode to the end of the path then ran through a buffalo grass lined, narrow, dirt trail, like a corn maze, and popped out at a little seaside waterfall. On the way back, the sky opened and sideways rain pelted us. Drenched already, the kids jumped off a small bridge into a sleepy river and then we went for hot ramen soup 🍜 . The simplest beauty. The sweetest joy.
