Thank you for the thread! I started watching this on Netflix a few weeks ago, and it took me a few tries to like it, but now that I’m watching again I’ve finally fallen in love with it. Emily somewhat reminds me of my own grandmother without being a carbon copy of her. (My gram isn’t as upper class as the Gilmores but I could see her having some of Emily’s disbelief over Lorelei and Rory’s casual approach to life or wanting to buy her granddaughter cashmere and pearls for her birthday.)
