We were very good friends. I could talk to him about anything, such entertainment/comics/sports but also, personal stuff. I really miss him. The initial shock and sting of his passing might not be as acutely painful but his passing as time goes by continues to be really tough. He was a great guy. He had a very calming influence on me. As a rule, I’m the exact opposite, I have a lot of anxious energy. Alan’s energy was very calming (and he had such wisdom) and it was contagious. I’d always feel better after talking to him.
