I get that, the easy part.

But if you read books by an author, and it's like book 16 or so, I would like something thrilling and new. Not "ah, yes, pg6 here he introduces the bad guy - pg 20 has the murder - pg 156 gives a sneak peek on who will find out who has done it - pg 252 reveal time"

I really like a book where it's the last chapter and you find yourself saying "Damn, didn't see that one coming AT ALL" followed by "Damn, it's the last chapter, what next?!" slowly feeling the black hole closing in on you
(that last part probably is a dutch expression translated wrong - I have to brush up on my English idioms, sorry )
