This was a cute movie. I think Amanda is a good actress. Is Amanda in any new movies for the new year?

Im not sure if she is doing anything this year. I can never see Amanda as a serious person anymore because of the Amanda show

I fell head over heels for Oliver as well. I totally dig guys with accents.

When I saw the previews for this movie, I wasn't too interested, but I borrowed it from the library simply because it was there and I ended up really enjoying it. Amanda did a very good job. I loved her acting. She was really selling it to me on how unhappy she was. She had such a stoic look on her face. I also love Colin Firth. He is one of my favorite actors because of his work on Pride and Prejudice. I can't talk about this movie without saying that I love Colin Firth.

There's a Colin Firth Appreciation thread on Male Celeb forum! I also Colin! What A Girl Wants was great! Amanda was so funny and Colin Firth was excellent. It's not the best film he's been in but it certainly does him credit.

I passed this movie up at the theater, but managed to catch it on DVD.

What impressed me most was the fact that while this is supposedy a "teen flick" or "family flick"... It was very adult the way it was executed with all of the characters without being too schmaltzy or too sacarine -- Which it could have easily been.

Also, I love the fact that it one of the movies in a long time that has a really good theme song ("Ride of Your Life") that actually fits the tone and themes of the film and just wasn't picked out of thin air to sell soundtracks like most songs on vocal soundtracks these days.

I really enjoyed this movie. I didn't think I would, but, it was very good. Amanda was so cute in it and she and Oliver - who is absolutely lovely - had some wonderful chemistry in it and Colin Firth was his normal excellent self and stoles every scene he was in.

I can't wait to see Oliver in Raise your Voice with Hilary Duff

I saw it in the theater for a special *sneak preview* where they hand out free tickets. It was so crowded I had to share a seat with my friend.

Colin Firth was the best part of it to me, I've loved him ever since I saw him in Pride and Prejudice...
