How many of The American Film Institute movies have you seen?

I've watched 42 of them, and hopefully will watch all of them.

I guess this is the place to discuss The Top 100 movies, which ones are your favorites?

Ooh, I [img]smilies/love.gif[/img] lists [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] I've only seen 38. (8 in the top 20) Definitely don't agree with Citizen Kane being #1 though...I just found it boring [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] And I'd have put Double Indemnity way higher [img]smilies/blush.gif[/img]

I've seen 42 of the movies on the list as well.

It's an awfully conventional list -- so many best picture winners plus all the standard movies that everyone says are great movies. I mean, it's a good list, but there aren't really any daring, non-standard titles on it.

Don't put much stock in these kind of lists anyway.

I've seen nine of those movies, but I've heard of most of them. I've decided that list is crap though, as Titanic is not even on it.

Apparently I've only seen 37 of the "Top 100" -- I also think the list is crap...

It lacks too many of my favorites (like The Princess Bride and Dogma, and anything with Johnny Depp in it), so it therefore sucks. [img]smilies/cool.gif[/img]

Yeah I don�t agree much with the list either� but I figured it was because I hadn�t seen so many movies so I couldn�t judge until I watched them all. But Citizen Kane, definitely isn�t my choice for number one.

Citizen Kane is in NO way the best movie. I feel asleep when we watched it in class...it was just plain BORING.

I've only seen 17 of them. And I personally think there are alot better movies than Fargo - I hated that movie [img]smilies/no.gif[/img]

I'm disappointed that Goodfellas was so far down the list, but I realise it's hardly a family movie so it restricts its audience somewhat!

I for one totally adore Citizen Kane and I'm glad it's still popular amongst audiences, not just stuffy old critics that think there hasn't been a decent movie made since then.

I notice most of my top ten movies of all time are in this list - glad to see Annie Hall there too [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

lol I'm the coolest... because I've seen only one movie out of all those ones. [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img] Actually... I haven't seen the whole movie... but yeah...

I'm glad to see The Sound of Music on there [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] I, too, would have liked to see Titanic on the list though.
