I'm a Tweet Geek So I use Tweetdeck which allows me to have more than one timeline open so I can have different searches (usually QaF related ) in different columns and it is filled with the same Tweet from the same person...well it was until I blocked her but even then they still come through, I've even seen them when I've searched for Gale!

He just has to click on the connect button to see his Tweets from others...I hope he never does, there are some right scary people tweeting him!

in Randy's case, twitter isn't necessary imo.
the fandom was way faster than he was announcing the next performance or interview

there are celebreties who use twitter differently and if they enjoy interacting with their fasn it's the right thing for them to do.
it isn't/wasn't for him, so why not let it go?

I think a huge majority of celeb tweeters use it for self promo, I follow very few celebs, I think I only follow QAF related people or people connected to any of them in some way.

Very rarely do celebs interact with others, I think partly because they have too many followers to keep up and partly because of the self promo thing I mentioned before. I've had replies from a few celebs when they have started out in their career and they actually replied to fans but the more famous they get the less they reply. I have 3 genuine celebs following me, one even sent me a good luck message when I once tweeted that I was going to view my house which was a lovely surprise!

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Randy didn't tweet again, he doesn't need to.

I don't like twitter very much, I opened an account and tweeted a few times but it just isn't the right social network for me. Maybe it's the same for Randy.
