So I thought it would be fun to have a thread dedicated the television show we all love so dearly. Yes, we have a whole board for that, but we have so many specific groups and such that it's hard to discuss something general about the show. So I thought we could do that here.

We all love the show for one reason or another, so I was hoping we could just use this thread for general discussions about all aspects of the show (i.e. The Townies, the main cast members, Stars Hollow).

I really hope this works out and I hope I explained it right! So post away!

ETA: And I've noticed I've probably never read ("met") half the people who post here because we are so group-specific.

i love the town itself

for the people we all love (Kirk, Patty, Babbette, etc.) and the people we love to hate (Taylor) who make up one of the best parts of the show.

I love the town meetings and festivals sooo much, everyhting about them is just great and some of the funniest moments of the show!

Great thread idea.

I too like the festivals in Stars Hollow and the town meetings. There are not as many of them now as there were in the earlier seasons. Probably because we know the characters better and don't need extra drama that much. And also because Rory doesn't live in Stars Hollow anymore.

I love the dialogue in the show, it's so funny. I also love the town festivals and the little town aspect where everyone knows everyone.

I miss all the good 'ole festivals too

The town is wonderful. With the townies and the town meetings, and the festivals, and everything else. I love the relationships. and I love everything else.

Oh wow...I almost forgot about this thread! Yay people are posting their favorite things. Town festivals, the Troubadour, the Diner, the pop culture references, Stars Hollow and the writing are my favorite things. lol. Oh and Paul Anka! :-)

Here's something random with no where to go, but funny nonetheless.

I was flipping through the guide tyring to figure out something to watch, and there was practically nothing on, but there was something on History Channel called "The Antichrist" that sparked my interest . When I tuned to it, I almost got really scared, cause I heard Richard talking about the different names of the antichrist and how different religions think the world will end. Edward Herrmann was doing the narration. Just thought I'd share. If I had a way to upload things from the tv to the computer, I could make one of the funniest videos ever, but no such luck.
