Carlos/Ricardo Chavira Appreciation Thread #1 - Everyone's favorite underdog
The talented man behind Carlos wasn't originally going to be given the role. They said he was too young, not suave enough. Through sheer determination, though, we can see he has proved them wrong and has the SAG award to prove it! He is living proof that you can do anything if you try hard enough in spite of all odds, and that being a underdog (as he has proudly self-appointed himself in an interview) isn't such a bad thing.
In spite of his fame, Mr. Chavira remains a down-to-earth man who doesnt let it get to his head; he instead puts it to good use in his support for charity, most notably in the honor of his mother, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Love or hate his character, you can't help but to appreciate this man's heart of gold, which, along with enjoying his performance on DH, is why I adore him so much. The girl's certainly has good taste
He's a huge, huge fan of Marcia Cross and Melrose Place alike, and said he'd like his character to have an affair . . . With Bree! I so want that to happen. I think it'd be funny. |

 God, I would love to see that. For Carlos being my favorite male character, Bree is my favorite female character (besides Edie - you just got to love her). But I doubt this is going to happen, although maybe Carlos kills Gabby and John, Bree being accused of killing Rex, the two escape to a lonely island and live happily ever after..... (God, I really need a life.... ) |

I love how Ricardo does so much for charity. I always seem to see pictures of him helping out others.
