I just watched that for the first time the other night and I may just have me a new addiction aside from just Lost & Alias. I swear that Patrick Dempsey just gets better with age. He is just too cute on there. Heck, I almost rooted for him in Sweet Home Alabama!

You know, it comes right after the hand holding, and just before Jack destroys the happiness of the moment... I loved that Sayid had his arm wrapping around her waist like that. It was very intimate and caring. So anyone knows where there's a screencap of it???

Loved all the Shayid tonight. I thought it was incredibly grown up and gutsy for Shannon to tell Sayid what she did about Boone. She didn't have to. It shows she wants to be honest (both with herself and with Sayid.) Sure, she didn't tell all, but the essence of her situation with Boone was there, and that's what counted. It showed where she stood with Boone, and that she was taking her relation with Sayid very seriously. I mean... Shannon asked him to "take it slow"? I doubt she ever asked that of any man she was with in the past. This bodes well for the relationship (until the writers get bored and decide to destroy it... )

I'm sure some people will say Shannon is just playing a part, getting her survival ducks in a row, manipulating Sayid into believing she is serious when she's just a cold b*tch... To the nay-sayers, I will say that Sayid sure looked like a truly happy guy, the next morning, and she, like a truly happy girl. So there must be enough truth in all this that it makes them happy together!

Oh and loved the "no expectations, only hopes". The writers are very good about making Sayid's speech sort of lyrical, poetic, elaborate in a clever way. I don't know arabic, but I've heard it's a language that has a lot of metaphors and poetry in it. I like that it transpires in Sayid's speech. Nice touch from the writers...

Oooh and Sir Fireboard? Going by your lovely avie, I sense a House/Cameron Shipper!! Any good sites to recommend? I'm a H/C myself...

When I was looking at the screencaps earlier, they did have one of them standing close together, but none of that. I'll make one when I get the eppy downloaded if we can't find one by then.

Yeah, baby Um, well the main site I go to is one of the groups on LJ. There's a H/Ca community here. The only other places I go are TWoP and the FOX board; there aren't many sites around for a show that's so damn popular...

Wow. I'm only gone a couple of days and there's already a new thread! the title!!

Hooray for the Shayid love tonight. I only wish there could have been more... I thought the part where Sayid said "hopes, but no expectations.." was so adorable... And the scene at the end with the crowd surrounding the baby and Claire, and then they all look and Shannon and Sayid coming down the beach was very well done.

I was surprised how quickly Claire had the baby. I thought for sure that they were going to drag that one on forever! RIP Boone....better you than Sayid. Sorry...


I'm still a little paranoid about someone happening to him though, I don't know why. What I want to see next eppy is Sayid going after Locke for Shannon, but Shannon trying to stop him, and tell him that she doesn't want to lose him too.
