Noticed that there wasn't a thread for this, so thought I'd start it.

The plot (from hollywood.com) :
Four boys growing up in the '80s start selling marijuana, and as they get older they start selling harder drugs and take control of a nightclub. One of the four, Seth, tries to break away by going to college and getting a new girlfriend.

Anyone heard more about the Alexis' role? Imdb.com says she plays Dylan.

I wish we could find out more info about Orphan King. It sounds like a good movie and I would love to see it, but there hasn't been anything new about it in at least a year, probably more. I don't even care if it goes to theaters, I just want it to come out so we can see it.

Aw, I'm really picky with movies but Alexis chooses great movies to act in. This sounds like a movie I'd love to see, but it's a shame that there isn't much info on the movie.

Any new info? this movie sounded so different and good that i just wantd to watch it but i don't even know if they'll release it here. Maybe when Alexis is rich and famous it'll mysteriously pop up.Although she already is quite famous.

It’s got Alexis Bledel - who’s amazing – and Bill Pullman. It’s really low-budget, [with a] great, great script. [The] writer and director are the same guy. It’s a guy named Andrew Wilder. It’s essentially his story [about] a guy who grew up in New York. It’s really dark – drugs and sex and violence. It’ll probably be in festivals later on this year.

And some People on the imdb message boards blieve that it's never ever coming out, or just as DVD.

Not to bash or anything but the way that description ws given seems kind of freaky and not in a good way. If its true, wow. I wouldve never thought Alexis would do a nude scene. She seems so shy.

I wonder if she has a stipulation in her WB contract saying that she cannot due a nude scene. I have no idea how that would work. Either way, it's a movie and she's playing a role and if she thought it was right for the character, then whatever. To me, it doesn't say anything about her morals or personality.
