Christmas With The Kranks (2004) #1

Anyone going to see Christmas With The Kranks when it comes out next month? Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis are in it.

Christmas With The Kranks

Here's the summary from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0388419/
Allen portrays Luther Krank who, fed up with the commerciality of Christmas, decides to skip the holiday and go on a vacation with his wife instead. But when his daughter decides at the last minute to come home, he must put together a holiday celebration.

It's also based on the novel "Skipping Christmas" -- Not to be confused with Ben Affleck's "Surviving Christmas" which is in theaters now.

The novel is really sardonic and intended for older audiences (parents whose kids are about to leave the nest), so it will be intersting to see how the movie translates some of that humor to a more broad audience.

Christmas With The Kranks

Ok, third time is a charm. It's called Christmas With The Kranks. Not Christmas With The Krants. I didn't realize it until now.

It won't let me change the spelling of the title for the subject. Can a moderator fix it? Thanks.

Christmas With the Kranks

I think this movie looks hilarious! I am planning on seeing it with my dad and sisters after we finish Thanksgiving dinner.

Worst. Movie. Ever.

Tim Allen will forever live off of crappy Disney Xmas movies.
