Has anyone seen the commercials for this movie? I can't decide whether it looks cool or just weird.

this is a great movie. go see this! i went and saw it at a sneak preview last night. i haven't laughed so hard at a movie since i saw "Dodgeball" earlier this year. if you're a big fan of South Park, you will enjoy this film. you will end up with tears in your eyes from laughing so hard.

I saw the trailer and the commercials on TV but I'm gonna wait and see what ppl say about it first. Like, if it's actually funny, I may go see it. If it's just weird, then I'll catch it on my movie channel a year later.

I don't know if I could stand watching an entire feature length film starring marionettes. It would seem like a super-extended SNL skit or something, the novelty would wear off. Maybe I'll rent it.

I saw a scene from this on MTV and I must say, I haven't laughed that hard in forever. It was when the lead guy was throwing up in the alley and I just laughed and laughed. I definitely wanna go see this.

I am torn on this movie for a lot of reasons.

First, I wasn't a big fan of South Park and find Trey Parker and Matt Stone's brand of humor juvenille and just trying to shock and offend more than entertain (which ultimately comes off as unappealing and cliched when compared to someone like Kevin Smith who generally entertains insteads of shocks).

Second, I really don't like their real life politics and stances on the real issues that they find so "funny" to make statements on in their projects.

However, even with all of that aside...

I don't know if this movie is even remotely funny (some of you say it is), so I will ultimately wait for DVD for this one.

I want to see this movie, i'm big fans of both Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They're legends here in Colorado.

I HATE HATE HATE Southpark. But I will see this movie just to see the blond puppet on the big screen say "Hey Terrorists! Terroize this!" That alone is worth the price of admission .

Was it? That scene is the only reason I am going to see it. I want to see how they play it out.
