The Lost Boys (1987) #1
Anyone else a big fan of this movie? I thought everyone did a great job in this film. Especially Kiefer Sutherland and Jason Patric. My favorite character has to be the Grandpa.

We have a lot of big fans of this movie in FF.
With the great DVD coming soon I'm sure new fans will also emerge. This is one of my all time favorite movies and I can't wait for the special DVD. __________________

If you liked the movie you should read the book, to me it's just as good if not better than the film.

I so loved this movie when I was younger, and I still do. Jason Patric, Keifer and all those other vampire guys were cute. Plus it also had one of the Corey guys in it too.

I've got it on dvd but I'd love to get the Special Edition.
Always loved this movie. And Jason Patric was quite the hottie in this. One of my fav parts though is when Corey Haim's character is singing in the bathtub, right before Anouk (sp?) attacks Michael. Oh and I have soundtrack, unfortunately only on tape. __________________

Big fan of this movie.
I have always had a fascination with the vampires and I think this was the first movie that started it. I remember I saw it when I was young and I think I even cried because I wanted my dad to buy it when I was younger Man, I was in love with Kiefer Sutherland I didn't know that there was a new DVD coming out soon, I can't wait! And the Frog Brothers were great! They were the vampire slayers __________________

Nikki - you're a fan, too? Oh my god - I freakin' LOVE this movie! I remember seeing it in NYC the summer it came out (I'd just graduated from college). I'm from the Bay Area and have gone to the Boardwalk so many times ever since I was little (it's been around for more than 75 years), so this was really nostalgic for me. Plus, pretty boys in leather and chains - what could be better! *goes off to find her copy* |

I also loved the film and saw it multiple times when it first came out (including a midnight showing on Halloween). Favorite characters? Grandpa ("There are RULES") and Nanuck the dog. I've got one of the original movie posters (thanks to knowing a guy at the cinema), the original movie sountrack (on vinyl) and a VHS copy of the movie. Now that I know what date the Special Edition DVD comes out, I'll be getting that as well. |
