Aw, you guys are more than welcome for the picture...I just happened across it by accident. I typed in Korean Newspapers and then started clicking on sites one at a time. It just popped up, and I went Damn! Haven't seen that one before.

Liz, I couldn't even begin to tell you where I found it. I am link-challenged anyway. Geez, I just learned how to do photobucket about a month ago. But if I do run onto any new pics, I'll try to save the site next time.

'HULA GIRL' REWRITE

"Hula Girl," a new film by Dennis James Lee ("Soap Girl") is undergoing a script rewrite in Los Angeles, with pre-production tentatively set to begin next month.

Lee said the film's budget will be $8 million to $10 million.

"Hula Girl," described by Lee two years ago as "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" meets "The Beach," is now shaping up to be "Blue Crush" meets "Bring it On" with the Merrie Monarch hula festival in the background, according to co-producer Joji Yoshida.

Lee, a graduate of McKinley High School, said he's in negotiations with Kelly Hu and Jason Scott Lee to lead a mostly-Hawai'i cast.

Dennis Lee and fellow Islander James Kang recently co-produced the the $50 million feature "D-Wars," starring Jason Behr ("The Grudge").

The CGI spectacle, based on a Korean legend, is scheduled for major release in November. Check out www.d-war.com to see a trailer. ...

If you're talking about me with the D-War site, I couldn't figure out how to set up a login. Not sure if it's necessary, though.

I got it all set up, and then there was some kind of "error message," and it was in Korean (as were all the fields in the sign-on procedure), so I couldn't tell what was wrong. And I went back and tried several ways, with no change in the result.

But I tried posting, and it seemed OK, so...

Still not enough of the "Star" of the movie? Don't they know what we really want to see? but it was very cool to see that it looks like a seriously kick ass movie. Good for Jason.
