ST: ENT: *Twilight* Discussion Thread
Synopsis of "Twilight":
After Enterprise is assaulted by severe spatial distortions, Archer loses the ability to form new, long-term memories, causing him to wake up each morning unaware that any time has passed since the day he was afflicted. Despite the crew's best efforts to keep him involved in decisions, it becomes clear over time that they can't continue to function in this manner, leading T'Pol to become his caretaker and Trip to take command of the ship. |

Oh yes, I am looking forward to this too. I will probably watch it Wednesday night instead of waiting until Sunday re-runs like I had been!

Ummm... This is really confusing.
Last week they were looking for the weapon or parts of the weapon, or the place it was being manufacutred at and now Archer is like really old and not the captain? Hmm.... __________________

Great show, reminded me why I still keep sticking with the series. It did my Archer/T-Pol shipper heart a world of good. She must love him, why else would she spend 12 years taking care of him. Can you imagine having to tell the same story over and over again, good thing she can control her patience level. The storyline kept me interested, it's been a long time since I re-watched a ST:ENT episode. Next week looks like a fun episode as well.

Mrs. George Eads, did you watch the whole eppy? It makes sense to me as a whole. If I'd only caught part, or just the promos, I'd be confused.
Faith, ah, we are in agreement. I thought it was an excellent eppy. I loved the way everything about it was written/directed and the way it played out. Yes, T'Pol must care a great deal about Archer in the life that never happened to agree to take care of him. What a sacrifice, to have to answer the same qustions day after day. But as a Vulcan, I believe she had quite an advantage. I'll be back with more details later. __________________

Well... I managed to miss the eppy. I came home late and only was able to catch bits and pieces. From what I saw... T'Pol looks much better with the long hair. I will have to wait 'til Sunday to see it and tape it.

To me it felt like a mix of several next gen. episodes and a Voyager episode. It was well woven, but parts were a bit retread. Don't get me wrong, it was entertaining, and I liked it, but my trekkie radar must have been up, because I was feeling critical, and picky. Maybe I've just retained too many details of other shows.

Not having seen the other ST series much, I cannot compare. Correction, I did watch STNG quite a bit, and yes, this was vaguely familiar, had that feel, but I truly loved the feel, the texture of this eppy.

A dream? I took it as it all really happened in the future, but the implosion killed the parasites and therefore took the cast all back to normal time.

Lots of new people!
Welcome to Fan Forum FaithSnyder Mrs George Eades, I understand why you'd call it a 'dream' eppy. Although I liked seeing the Archer/T'Pol interaction, I've never been a big fan of episodes where the ending is that it never really happened. Well, I guess this one supposedly happened in an alternate timeline maybe, but still it's the same difference to me. __________________

I'm wondering if either Archer or T'Pol have any indication that this alternate timeline happened, based on the looks at the end that they shared, comments on how T'Pol would make a good nurse!

This is one of the best episodes this season... but still that isn't saying much. I'm a fan of alt-timelines b/c you get to see glimpses of how people feel. I wonder if Archer recalls the experience w/ T'pol or if he was just being sly by calling her a good nurse.
