Kir'Shara Summary

Archer, T'Pol and rebel leader T'Pau struggle to reach the Vulcan capital to publicly unveil their discovery of a revered ancient artifact that could revolutionize Vulcan society and topple the corrupt government.
Meanwhile, with help from allies among the Vulcans and Andorians, the Enterprise crew attempts to stop V'Las and the Vulcan High Command from launching a sneak attack upon rival planet Andoria.

Hopefully this is a good ending to the arc, because I heard the ending to the last one wasn't that good

You know, maybe more people would watch this show if stupid UPN affiliates didn't put basketball games on instead! Seriously? The hell? I reeeealllly wanted to watch this and I turn on UPN to find a freaking basketball game that is only in its first quater. And, of course, startrek.com nor the UPN site have any info about when a possible repeat will be on. Grrrrr . . . .

Arosia I'm so sorry that UPN had to be stupid and decided to put a Basketball game on instead, I had no idea that had happened. I was watching it on CityTv up here in Ontario Canada. I know of it being on Sunday's at 7pm on UPN here, or I would watching it at 8pm on Space

I think that I had that the ending to the last story arc was really bad, I wouldn't know yet because I have to eppy on tape at home. I thought that the whole story arc was pretty interesting, but did it have a real point. The only thing I thought was that it brought up something to do with a main Vulcan character from the past and the religion that he had. Also the fact of getting the Vulcans and Andorians to get on each others bad side again, because they still didn't solve the problems from season 2. But I did like how they end the eppy with our first look at a Romulan(sp?) for the series, and leaves us wanting more because of that. I hope that this story arc is continued into the next three parter, but we have two stand alone eppys before that

i thought it was a fine ending to the arc...the romulan at the end was a nice touch and from the voice and the shadows at first i thought it was silik and it was another temporal cold war thing...i know how much chris would have loved that and i loved the battle scene...for some reason the design of vulcan ships kinda bothers me...i dont see how high speed warp travel is capable in something like that.they are only warp 6 or 7 capable i think but its still a poor design for efficiency

Arosia that's too bad. Unfortunately UPN affiliates seem bad for that. If I'm taping the eppy, I always use the Canadian channel because of it. They sometimes move Enterprise to 10 from 8, but at least they give advance notice about it. They don't show previews though.

You know me well, I was cringing at that point. I was so glad that it turned out to be a Romulan!

I quite enjoyed this eppy. Lots of Archer/T'Pol interaction. Loved Trip being in command of Enterprise. We got to see Shran again! I hope that he's back for another eppy this season. The battle scene was cool.

Now, what'd I think of the episode....

Hrm...ok what I didn't like first:

The story seemed rushed...
I wanted to see more of the battle...
I'm a freak for battle damaged ships...
They have the CG model of the Seleya...use it!
The Admiral Gardner thing was resolved too quickly...
I would have liked to have seen Andoria...
Humans doing the Vulcan Death grip...
V'Los, being investigated for treason is allowed to roam free...
You're being fired on...use the freaking PHOTON TORPEDOES!


What I liked:
T'Pau...she kicks a@@
T'Pol...just cuz she is...and she kicks a@@ too
The Vulcan search party...although, why aren't they carrying phasers?
Shran
Soval
The Andorians and their ships
Vulcan Ships...I actually don't mind the cruisers...i hate the "fighters"
The battle....nice. I like seeing the Andorian ships in combat
The Kir'shara was a nice effect too...kinda cool.
Trip and reed were pretty good, though.

Not as good as Twilight or E2...but better than the augments. (all of which written by the same writer)

I thought that the story arc was somewhat rushed too. I thought that they could have done more to the story and maybe help explain some of the stuff. I loved the fact that they are showing that Trip has matured and he could be a great leader. Things over the past few years have made him better, its great because its more character development towards him. I loved the argument between him and Malcolm, and I loved how he didn't let they're friend judge his decision

I'm not done with my summary of my thoughts, its just that I've losted my train of thought at the moment. Be back later to finish

I liked that too. Last time we seen Trip in command, he couldn't make a decision. There was quite an improvement this time around.

I guess that we're probably on hiatus until the new year ... yep, next new eppy is scheduled for January 7th. That seems like a long time away.

Oh, and Koss told T'Pol that he wasn't going to hold her to their 'marriage'.!
