Adopt a Newbie #18-- Missed the first open spot? Come wait for the next one with us!
Welcome to Adopt a Newbie.
Thread Rules Being "adopted" by another member of Fan Forum, means first off that you have a friend. Secondly, they are there for you to show you around FanForum and to answer questions you might have. If you "adopt" a newbie, you are their parent and thus you are their guide to Fan Forum. You help them out in the beginning when they are not sure of things and are their friend. To adopt a newbie, you MUST have 600 posts or been a member of Fan Forum for 6 months. You can only be adopted once under your name. A different login name doesn't mean being adopted again. For the newbies who's parents are not there enough or parents for who the adoption system didn't work, we have a Babysitting Thread. Don't hesistate to check it out. If you have any questions PM Cris or Malha :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thread Announcement I :: Frozen List. Because the Adoption list is too long, we have decided to freeze the list. That means that NOONE is going to be added to the list until we reach just 10 people. We reached to the conclusion that this system would make the adoption easier as we would be sure that the posters who are on the list won't wait forever to adopt a newbie and so their motivation will be intact :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thread Announcement II: PMing posters. We are Pming EVERYONE who's on the list. This time no matter if you are or you've been a regular of this board. So if you notice you've been taken off of the list it's because you didn't answer our PM in a week. Except in case of problem, do not answer to our PM on the thread, just PM us back. It's easier for us.  ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Updated List We are deleting the people from the list who haven't answered. So if you are one of the following people, and you 1) were not able to respond within a week 2) didn't recieve the PM let us know Pming us, and you'll be added back to the list.
