Yeah, it was great to see Milo poke fun of the image that the WB gives it's actors.

I can't believe that was him in all those commercials! I had no idea!
You know how many times I saw that "bad cheetah" Mountain Dew commercial or that T Mobile commercial. And God did Milo look hot in that PT Cruiser commerical? Dood! He's on fire!

The first thing Milo ever did was a Dr.Pepper commercial... but unfortunately it's just a part of TV history now and not accessible to view.

As in the previous year, Milo again directed the new promos for the 2004 fall WB season in July, 2004. Among the many actors that he directed were Lauren Graham, Scott Patterson, and Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls, many of the actors from One Tree Hill, The Mountain, 7th Heaven, a couple of actors from Jack & Bobby, as well as Steve Harvey and Drew Carey.

That's great he gets to direct Lauren, Scott and Alexis. Good practice for directing an episode of Gilmore Girls. That must be fun to be on the other side of the camera with those actors who you have been in scenes with.

Thanks a lot Kelly for letting us know. It's really awesome that he got to direct his former co-stars. Gives me the warm fuzzies. Both Lauren and Scott think very highly of him and Alexis... well... hmm... I'm sure probably thinks he's very special...

Can't wait to see the promos. All of them, if possible.

Thanks for the info, Kelly! I look forward to seeing the promos. It would be fun to hear his comments on directing his former co-stars, and especially Alexis. And their comments on his work, too!

I too am excited to see what he's done with these. Last years promos were very creative and beautiful, and were well received by fans. I really believe Milo has the talent to do many things in this industry.

Just curious, but will anyone ever know he directed these commercials besides us, the people who know him personally, and those who take a look at his resume?

I mean, the WB isn't going to put him in as a credit at the end or anything, will they?

No, there wont be credits in the promos. It would be nice to see 'directed by Milo Ventimiglia' though.

Like, was it his decision to make the gold swirls, or did he just decide which shot of the actors to use?
Yes, his input and ideas are what you see in the final promo.
Milo works with the actors to make the decisions needed for what they do in the promo. In discussions with the actors, they both decide what to do and what would work for both of them (the star and the director.) He had 7 sets for the stars he just directed. Then after they're filmed, Milo works with editors and others to decide which footage works best for the promos and the image campaign, and then he works on color correcting, the editing of them together, etc., to create the final promo.
