So, I just saw the movie.... And I can safely say that they were the best part of the film. In my opinion at least.

I feel like if they had only focused on these two more (particularly Kylo) and got rid of the other characters, the movie would have been so much better.

But overall, I actually really enjoyed his movie.

I knew I wasn't watching the movie for a while because I don't have time to go to the cinema yet with busy holidays upcoming

And I'm glad I spoiled myself, because I think it would have felt like a ton of bricks squashing my stomach if I had gone in blind.

Damn, there are so many things I wanna say

There are at least 2 movie comparisons I could make with this movie in terms of how Reylo is handled.

Without spoilers, let's just say the YIN AND YANG concept was spot-on. Like, I was 100% right to put that in the title back when I did. That's what they are, and I feel vindicated.

Felt like that way based just on the throne room scene from TLJ

it was obviously a good comparison alone by that scene

Light, dark, all the typical Star Wars concepts... Rey and Kylo take all that and progress it to its furthest point.

There is constant flirtation in their dynamic and back-and-forth attempts to get each other to come onto a side.

Like one TROS reviewer said, it's very erotic.

I think it's the biggest advantage that the sequel trilogy has over both of the other trilogies -- the dynamic between Rey and Kylo.

It just hasn't been done like this before. Two force users constantly tempting each other and even caring about each other, with huge layers of sexual tension simmering underneath

I have to agree where it’s different and unique from how the other trilogies did it having these two like you said seducing each other in all sense considering Kylo in TLJ for Throne Room Scene

I still feel that Kylo is deeply misunderstood in that scene.

Like... The audience reactions to what he offers Rey are so divided.
