They don't really address gay relationships though so I would think there would be a taboo or not depending where the characters are from in a GFFA. Some might be very accepting and others not.

The only time I can think of when they addressed a taboo was in the X-Wing Series when Gavin Darklighter was dating a Bothan woman. (*gives death glare to Borsk Fey'lya*)

Yeah, Stackpole did pretty well there. He generally does well, though rewriting the JAT is, while not quite up there with Greedo shooting first (Does anybody like that scene?), definitely in the annoying area. And there was "I felt a stirring in my loins..." More than I needed to know. Still, in general, his writing's grittier than some of the writers.

He did do that story well because I remember getting so upset. I was so rooting for Gavin and Anya(sp?) and wanting to kill Borsk.

I honestly do not remember that line from I, Jedi. But that book was too long and too much was going on that I forgot a lot.

JAT = Jedi Academy Trilogy. At one time known (distastefully) as TDAB, Those Damn Anderson Books. But I liked them. Plus, it gave us the first time the bad guys "weakened" Luke for balance. (Well, unless you count Palps having him go over to the dark side.)
