Yes, Kyle is the Jedi and Jan is not.
That's not a good pic of Kyle, he looked much cooler in the comics. Kind of like an Obi-Wan, b/c the whole bearded look. __________________

I wish you could read that comic...maybe Jerry can find a file and send it over, so I can edit/repost some of those images.
In my opinion, he does look much like Obi-Wan from "Episode III". __________________

Alema Ra was one of the Twi'lek twins from the NJO series. She watched her sister die in the NJO series and was never the same. __________________

Nope. Leona Tavira is her name. She's exclusive so far to "I, Jedi", but I have a feeling they will be using her in future novels. The admiral you are thinking about was Daala, on the command ship the "Gorgon", which was nearly destroyed but escaped the last battle in "Jedi Academy". Ah, so many hot imperial women in charge

He was. Infact, in Jedi Academy, they lay out a pretty believable background about how Admiral Daala got her job/title. Apparently she was discovered by Grand Moff Tarkin, who's like 20 years older than her, but she had an affair with him and they promoted her she's also a good officer actually too but to keep her promotion secret, her assignment was the research facility in the Maw Installation.
Leona Tavira is a "self promoted" commander. She didn't go through official channels to get the title or command. The other one is Isaard? She commanded the Lysankiasp which was a superstar destroyer. I guess they deal with that in X-Wing series. __________________
