I don't know if this is the right thread to ask this question but were you satisfied that in Star Wars: Episode II that they showed the seeds of Aniken Skywalker becoming evil? I had no problem with him killing those creatures who kidnapped and tortured his mother.

We don't, but that's part of the problem with the Jedi, their ideals are so extreme to one moral, that most people can't identify with them. For instance, even though sith are hated, they are to be captured alive if possible, not killed, so they may stand justice. No one individual is ever right enough to dispense judgement and sentence on their own.

The code of the Jedi is extreme, that's why Anakin's "feelings" lead him away from the path of the Jedi and onto the path of Darkness to the teaching of the Sith.
