So when does it come back. This week, or next?

Clovis was creepy, but I suppose he was supposed to be. But I don't find it very plausible that Padme was involved with him. Not that she has any great judgement in picking men, looking at what she ended up with.

The actor who played Clovis played this annoying telepath called Byron in season 5 of Babylon 5. Not a good memory.

Padmé had a savior complex.

Season 5 had some bad stuff, but it started very well and ended well too.

Don't have much to say. Never saw the series.

You know what I need to look up tomorrow and this is a note to self here:
Look up the episode guide to Season 2 of TCW.

That's true, the last episode was great....

Oh, you should watch Babylon 5, at least the first 4 seasons had a really good story to it.

Landing at Point Rain was over the weekend for some folks, apparently it aired on Wednesday elsewhere. looks to be quite action packed.

Never hit mine.

Saw a preview for this weeks episode. Barriss Offee (luminara's padawan) is in it.

Here is my review:

The animation was phenomenal. There was action in like 95% of the show and I was amazed by it. But also disturbed by the flamethrowers. That was so, so violent.

I am surprised no one lectured Anakin and Ahsoka on their tally. Not very Jedi like, though I think Ki-Adi's comment at the end was supposed to prove a point.

I am so excited to FINALLY see Barriss on an episode but am so made they screwed up the continuity. Barriss was Knighted before Anakin! She should not still be a Padawan

Here are some photos I took at the Toys R Us in Times Square.

ahhhh continuity raises its ugly head.

Those are some great photos. Wish we had those at my TRU store.

I agree, the episode was awesome (finally got to see it yesterday). Great action, the Y wings rocked. And yes, I found the use of flamethrowers on living geonsians dark. Very dark, but, it was also a nice change of pace from junking droids all the time.

In my book, Barriss is a Jedi. I will ignore the Padawan title when I see it. BTW, when does it air? Friday night?

Thanks. I wanted to take Anakin and Obi-Wan home with me.

It shows how ugly and dark war is.

Prove the point that even council masters go in for unjedi-like behavior sometimes? He was joining in the tallying game and was disappointed not to win anything.

Expect established "canon" to be screwed at every turn in this show.

I saw both recent eps on youtube. The first one was just endless battle scenes and not much else. The second one had a bit more story. Is that really supposed to be Ki Adi Mundi? Because that doesn't look at all like his face. The shoved his nose halfway up his face. Luminara comes off like such a poser. Fake and full of herself. She's so sure she's superior. The problem being I doubt she's supposed to come off that way. Failure of character portrayal. Barris Offee seems to have been totally dominated by her pompous master, to the point of having no personality of her own. Not to mention the bowing and scraping. As usual, Anakin sounds like a dumb dork and looks like one too. This is a better Anakin than the prequel one, but not too impressive despite that.

Very dark? For god's sake, this is supposed to be a war. In a war, you try to kill the enemy or they kill you. Granted, ever since the prequels came in we've gotten this namby-pamby cop-out in which the good guys usually only fight droids, so as to avoid showing them killing organic beings most of the time. Fighting geonosians is a welcome break from that sort of wimping out.
