I had to brave the cold too. Worth it.

They made Vader scary again. Didn't expect so much Tarkin. Loved how much this felt like a war/espionage movie.

Yes, Vader definitely was one of the many highlights of this movie.

I was sure that was going to happen since I first read the film was going to be made. Still, it's a pity they had to use up a good actress on a once-off role and give the central role in the big trilogy to a bland actress like Daisy Ridley.

I will go see the movie again. But right now I'm listening to the audio book.

Authors of film adaptations usually work close with the screen writers. So it will be nice to get some extra info on the characters.

I watched this movie last night with the fam. I was so nervous at first, considering the timeline - stand-ins, but wow I was duly impressed by what they did with this film. (I know it can't be 100% perfect) The most I appreciate about it, is how it felt like a true prequel to episode 4, I mean I know it's not really considered that, but it was so well tied in, leading to episode 4 that after I watched it, all I kept thinking about was watching episode 4 once I got home, cause it felt like it wasn't over yet. I'm definitely going to go see this again.

I don't know if I'll feel it really fits with Star Wars/ANH. It's made 40 years later, fitted to different tastes, styles, mentality, politics. I doubt I'll feel they mesh when I see the film.
