Oh right Rhett Butler I should have known that.

I could never watch the same movie over and over in a short period of time, got bored too easily but my sister would watch a cartoon about 4 times a day every day for a week and laugh every single time.

Jerrrrrry!

Sheida, they're just so funny! I enjoy reading the Twilight books, but so many fans take them beyond serious (as you've probably noticed too) that I can't stand it. Suzy's icons are rather refreshing.

Stephanie: Hi One year -- now that's commitment! Different movie everyday or the same one? -- because that would REALLY be a commitment!
Different one. This was in the 8th grade:
Monday would be A New Hope
Tues- ESB
Wed - ROTJ
THrs - ANH
Fri - ESB
Sat - ROTJ
and Sunday I would rest

and I also would get into moods in my childhood where I'd keep watching Sound of Music, or Little Women, Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Steel Magnolias, (etc) non-stop, like twice a day for a lengthy period of time.

I still watch movies over and over again during their run on cable. And recite the lines

I watch favorites more often then I ever watch a new film/one I never saw before.

SUZYX FTW!
I love that we are all using her icons.
Some people do take it too seriously. Lighten up, they're entertaining.

Yeah I agree, some people take them too seriously, but if you dont then you enjoy them more

I think the only movie I watched over and over in a day was HP2, and that was because I was such a geek desperate for clues as to what was gonna happen Id practically pause and zoom every scene

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get the books yet. Isn't it amazing that the moment I said I had free time all my free time seemed to disappear instantly. . . sigh. . . .But it is next on my "to do" list -- if I had a "to do" list, which I really should.

JJJEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYY! -- Whew -- that was a lot of R's!

Shieda - Yeah, it seems like my days of watching and re-watching movies are over and done with. I can't seem to make myself watch a movie I've already seen unless I really REALLY like it. I just feel like I'm wasting time -- why re-watch a movie and miss out on the hundreds and hundreds I haven't seen?

And. . .

I hear you. Sometimes I like to say outrageous things to some of my friends who obsess over the books like "A god-like, 90-year old vampire would never fall for a 16 year old, kinda whiney teenager". But not too often, because then I have to hear a shpeal outlining in no less than 25-points why Edward and Bella are soul mates forever and ever (AND EVER!!). I've secretly wanted to go and trash Edward Cullen on his appreciation thread just for fun but I'm too scared. The people on those boards will eat you alive.

Maria!!

Wow. . that was a lot of replying I just did there.

I know I am wasting time too, especially with the growing list I have but I love the novelty and comfort of one I know by heart. Knowing what is to come and saying the lines feel like home.

Yea, stay away. Not worth headache and getting banned.

I ship them but not in a die-hard-oh-they-are-soul-mates-crazy way. More like I see their strengths and faults. They are my "It's like a car crash" ship

I know what you mean. With me, I really to enjoy the books and I wanted them to end up together, something just never seemed exactly right for me. But enough of this Twilight talk. . . .

I know what you mean about familiar movies -- I definitely have those few that I keep going back to while snuggled under a blanket on a cold winter night. . .

What I also love is that I can put them on as background noise and don't actually have to sit and watch.
I can clean, do laundry, be on the computer, etc. etc...

With a new movie it becomes time consuming... I have to stop everything, sit and pay attention.
