Awwww. That is kinda sweet even though it's a kinda sad that she cried at all.

I went to iHop today and there was a big group of people eating there. And one guy had to go out to get something. The little boy kept asking for his dad and the mom was telling him he'd be right back. Yet the kid kept asking, "Where's daddy? I want daddy..." Then an uncle had to take him outside because he started crying.

I do actually like philosophy, quite a lot, I really liked the book when I read it a few years ago, it was just so full of names and different ideas that I have a hard time remembering any of them

I plan on re-reading it real soon though, Im not sure if Neitzche was in the book or not but Ill read up on him

yeah,funny how it goes with friends, there are friends that I thought I'd always know that haven't been in my life for quite some time now and some friends I'd thought I'd never see have reappeared...and I've also begun to realise some friends you can sorta "grow out of"...

That is not very rational. I can understanding hating Edward but not Rob for bringing him to life. If it weren't Rob it'd be someone else. The part would have been casted regardless. So rationally she should hate Edward and SMeyer for creating him.

So true about friends and life/fate, whatever picking them for you.

This is silly and gross but I was reminded of what friend said to me once:
"You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose."

Yea but you don't know by who, and how effectively. Her argument is that someone else might not have fit as well, or done something to ruin the character so people didn't like the movie as much. She's never actually said that she hates Rob, she just groans everyday somebody mentions him or we see him on a tabloid. It's really the phenomenon that she hates, which I can understand. It pisses me off that those books may be remembered forever when better books will fade away. I don't think SM deserves to be viewed as a great writer, but someday she might be.

My friends and I say "your mom," but only when we're play fighting. Though more recently it's become "your face."

Maria, when a person can't acknowledge someone else's PoV it's just irritating. If she doesn't want to change cool, but for her to ignore the problem is just lame.
