Jerry, childless? Where did they go?

Hi Hyperdrive Crew! I'm on a week off and wasting/spending too much time on the net. Thought I'd come by Fanforum again to see how everyone's doing.

Good to see it's still here and you're all still discussing the best film ever.

Hope you're all keeping well.

Juli, competely agree. They're coming home today. I'm so excited.

And Juli, you have to see Lordi's movie. It's quite good.

What's up Paul? How's it been going? Good to see you've been keeping busy.

Steph, the kids spent a week or so out with the grand parents in the country. Chickens and Horses galore.

Greetings all! It's been a long long while since I've posted in the Star Wars thread. Although after seeing the movie "Fanboys" and totally loving it, it's got me back into my fangirl status mode for Star Wars. I have crates of stuff that I want to look at again. I have a lot of around the house projects I want to do this summer so going through my Star Wars stuff is one of them. Also thinking of creating sheets with the list of things in each bin so I can find stuff easily. I've been trying to search for some SW comics so I can put them with my other comic books but my room is kind of crazy and I can't remember the last place I put them.

Hopefully now I'll start posting around here even if it's just a tad here and there because I've been invested with my board and the new season of Secret Life is coming up so things have been busy over there.

Jerry, they live on a farm? That's cool that spent the week with the grandparents.

R2, welcome back. Wow that sounds like a big project but a fun one to find all the stuff you have. I think keeping an inventory list is a great idea. Very organized. Keep us updated on what you find.

Yeah you bet.

What I plan to do is go through each box, label the box by number, and write them out. Then I'll go back and type each list. I have sheet protectors so I'll keep the lists in there and tape them to the front of the box.

Hiya Ros! How's it been going?

Steph, I wouldn't call it a farm, per se, but it's out in the country, and they have a bit o land.

It's been going good. Off for the summer now so I'm enjoying the break. Just been obsessing over my latest favorite tv show (look to mod position under my avi ) And the past few days I've just been organizing and taking inventory of my Star Wars stuff. It's so fun to look through things I haven't seen in a whlie. Still have quite a bit of stuff to go through.

Hehehe, sounds like a good plan.

so really, you're into American Teenager? Isn't that the same folks that did 7th heaven?

I had a busy weekend. Saw Up and Night at the Museum 2 with the girls, and mom and the girls did some fun stuff, had a birthday party for Jill to go to, and Jill had to say goodbye to her best friend in kindergarden he's moving to chicago for a while.

Yup die-hard fan of American Teenager. And yeah it's by the creator of 7th Heaven, Brenda Hampton. It's really a great show. Puts the message across and I'm learning more about topics I didn't know much about.

My parents saw Up. They liked it.

Oh yeah, she turned 6 and the end of last year.

My wife cried at Up. But everyone liked Night at the Museum a bit better. I think it was Hank Azaria that did it.

Ros, that's my problem. I used to watch 7th heaven with the wife, then the show seemed to get a bit, well preachy, and became a turn off.

Yeah 7th Heaven was a little too preachy at times. There were episodes that I couldn't stand watching because of it.

Secret Life is not preachy at all. It's a show basically about sex. And you have all the different view points from the Christian/abstainance POV to this teenager who absolutely needs constant sex because he was sexually abused as a child, to the innocent teenager who knows really nothing about sex and does it anyways. This show is not preachy like 7th Heaven.
