P&W Grants Ant Killer...buy some, use them, put them in the ground. We had 3 nests in our yard, they're all gone now.

Steph, maybe next week, when the kids are out at Grandman and Grandpas.

Steph, Thanks. I love JJ Abrams, but I'm gonna wait to see ST until it comes out on DVD so I can watch it with my dad. He doesn't like theaters, too crowded for him.

Where are you working?
What is a goat run in?

DVD will be cool. especially with all the features.

Well, they made one mistake. Kirk's raised by his uncle in the new movie. Then again, more proof they just "borrowed" a draft of Star Wars.

Now, had it been the one with Luke Skywalker and his apprentice Annakin Starkiller, does anyone have a full copy of that script?

Speaking of which, why hasn't this forum mentioned that Ken Annakin died last month?
I didn't hear that he past What did he die of?

Standard ischemic stuff. He suffered a heart attack and a stroke within a day of each other. Oh, Annakin did a Pirates of Penzance parody in the 80s that references Star Wars in its updated Major-General Song. The kid from Blue Lagoon who wasn't Brooke Shields was in it.

Yeah, I'll second that, i hadn't heard he'd died either, and I'm on at least 6 star wars sites during the day.

Steph, the run-in is in our backyard. We have a field fenced off for the horses, and then within that field we have a smaller plot of land fenced off where my mom is going to put goats. I'm still with Wal-mart, they transferred me. Changing schools kind of sucked, but I'll live.

In the rough draft, Luke Skywalker was the character who became Obi-Wan. Annakin Starkiller was the character who became Luke, but had more of Han's personality, and in one draft was a girl. Also, Annakin's father was a cyborg.

Actually, starkiller started off as a girl, and quickly turned into a boy, if I'm not mistaken. Those were the days when everyone was cool. I still think McQuarrie's concept of Starkiller as a girl is keen, as well as his concept of Han/Obi-Wan (as they were merged at one point as well).

But, back to OT!! Maria, welcome back, you were missed.

Juli, so you're really living kansas life, eh? I thought you'd be in Witchita proper.

Hey, I grew up in South Dakota, so yeah, changing from Midwest to Coast or vice versa can be a culture shock. New Yorkers who move to the Midwest often have trouble getting used to driving and mowing their lawns. (The most obvious example I can think of has been all the Hasidic colonies cropping up around the Plains. This has been a bit of a culture shock to both groups because it's customary to share food in most Plains states, though doing so goes against kosher laws. But at the same time, these same people have provided a niche market for ranchers in the Midwest. These days, with kosher slaughter under attack from PETA, though, you'll find the two groups more united against an actual threat from the Coast, namely PETA.)

Jerry, no I'm way out in the boonies. We live in a town called Peck, which consists of about 200 people and a post office/town hall.

ohh. Does your family sell products from the farm, like goat milk, etc?

I want to see some of that. I may have but I can't remember. Do you have any to post on the picture thread?

Maria I missed you co-mod.

Jon, uniting against PETA is indeed a good reason to unite. And as I've seen all the folks from the merger move from Richmond Virginia to St. Louis, it's be hilarious. They want to know why it's so laid back around here, where's all the commotion.

Juli, I see. So you are out there then. Fear it. Moving from Indy to there must be rather rude.

Ha guys Maria loves me best, she wrote me too messages.

Jerry, meh it's no big deal. I prefer the country to the suburbs anyday, but I prefer the city to them both. What can you do?

Steph, No, they both have day jobs, the animals are just for fun. The guy across the street (where we bought the goats) sells goat milk. And goat meat.
