Kara, I read a little bit each night. So far I am 94 pages in. What did you think?
I think it is the real deal and I think I like it better than Twilight

Stepped in a whole while doing Yardwork....was quite silly if you ask me. I can walk on it tenderly now, but it's got a bit of swelling and bruising. Alas, I think I'll survive.

And yeah, the book is a lot more interesting when it's not narrated in the head of a teenage girl. So, of course it I like it a lot better.

Jerry~ you will probably be very proud to hear that I was actually at a bar for a while on Friday night and actually managed to spend a good 45 mins on the dancefloor

woooo,it was fun...I was out with a couple of friends,hanging around town with The Night of Arts,so all sorts of happenings all over town,it was very nice...

I still have quite awful penmanship

and I too have injured myself doing silly things...the last bigger injury I remember was last year spring, I injured my left shin pretty badly, I was hopping on one leg like an injured animal for like a week, was at a wedding with high heel shoes,on my feet for like 12 hours and my leg didn't like it, imagine that!

Maria I'm so jealous--haven't been dancing in ages. Of course there's not really anyplace I can go out dancing these days either. I used to go a lot before I got married and had kids.

re--injuries--I bruised the bottom of my foot once when I was attempting to change a light bulb. :embarrased: Yep, I know about strange injuries too. (My sister once got her radius broken when someone hit her with a red rubber ball in dodgeball too).

re--Midnight Sun: I have to say I liked Midnight Sun much better than I thought I would. I agree with Kara I find Edward's POV interesting and it makes me like him a bit more--his attraction to Bella doesn't come across as creepy as it does in Twilight to me. Also I think she's improving as a writer.

Isnt Mahone one of the best characters ever?

Ive found a load of animated Mahone icons and Ill be using practically everyone of them cause I just cant choose.

We were just talking about the weird injuries Ive had with my aunts last night, they all involved pins and needles.

Midniight Sun, I have 2 chapters left but I agree with Kara and p&w.
Edward is more mature than Bella. I do feel like we understand Edward more and he does seem less creepy, especially when he admits to himself that it's wrong to stalk her. Bella is clearly a bit unhinged to be flattered by it. But at least he feels sickened with himself.
I also really like all the Cullen thoughts and life we get from Edward's POV.

Injuries: Jerry, how's the ankle?
Maria, OUCH!and forget heals at the wedding. I'd go with flats.

I took a dance class a couple of years ago, but no time these days. (I do however dance with the kids ever now and then

Ankle's doing ok, no, I'm not doing Ice or Elevation, just trying to work though it...yeah, I know, not very bright, but I'm a big tough guy, right?

Maria, great to hear that you got out on the floor, I'm so proud of you....now we just need you to get out there regularly.

How's everyone doing this week? I've been in training most of the week, so my head's full of new info for a new application that I'm going to support....yeah me.

I just signed up this week for some more salsa classes with my sister...

but I was pretty disappointed with the show after the 2nd season finale so I decided not to watch the show anymore and not watching season 3 was recommended to me aswell...I still

and I don't know about that...you see the few single friends I had left started dating this spring and have since been MIA and are *only* available to go out when their guys are elsewhere

a week from now there was talk of going out,because the bf of one of these friends is out of town and the other first said yes but then said "except if that's the only weekend i can see my bf (they're doing the long distance thing...) but if he can come along,then I can came!"

and yes Jerry,you DA man...
