| Were both of Anakin's/Vader's arms artificial? | Both of his arms were artificial. The arm that was left "intact" after Obi-Wan cut off both his legs, and his left arm, was the artificial arm that was previously cut off by Count Dooku in Episode II. So he loses his right arm, below the elbow in Episode II. He loses the left arm near the shoulder in Episode III. Basically he's got no arms or legs below the knees from that point on.
