I had forgotten about it till I re-read Twilight a few weeks ago.

There was a question about the books being anti-feminism. From what I remember she said that physically Bella is always getting rescued because she is a human among people with superhero abilities. But that she's a girl who knows what she wants and that when you look at it she's the one who has 2 guys wrapped around her finger. Gosh, I am paraphrasing badly because she elabortated a lot more than that. I wish I had the direct quote.

That's okay, I didn't expect a direct report. I was just curious if anyone asks about such things. I can see both sides of the issue. On the one hand I sometimes think that people are looking too deeply into the books, but on the other hand I'm not sure I approve of young girls looking up to Bella.

A friend of mine said that Jewel always wanted to be country, it was just her record label got in the way.

Not sure who her source is though.

Jewel has said that too.
When she was on Atlantic she was too country for pop and now that she wants to be country on the right label they want her to be more pop.
