Ok I'll get the ball rolling.

Me with my SW shirt in front of Star Tours in Disney Hollywood Studios this past May.

You're being shot at by an AT-AT!

That's awesome :D

Nice pic. Was Star Tours fun?

I'll have to wait until DragonCon...where I'll find people in SW costumes and so I can make this thread:)

Star Tours is a fun ride. Realistic too. Makes me a bit dizzy. I always need to take a seat after I get off

A pic from last summer when I was a camp counselor. I'm on the far right, the other girls were good friends of mine at work. Alice (left) is from Scotland and Georgie (middle) is from Perth, Australia.

How do you get in the same room with someone from Scotland and Perth? Hrm? And glad you posted up that second picture, was going to ask which was you and which was the neice.

Steph, we should be glad that we got on Star Tours when we did, they're going to remodel it soon. And my, oh my, the hair cut. Why so radical?

<- runs off to find a good picture of himself.

FreedomsBullets 07-08-2008 09:41 AM

Camp Counselor program CCUSA. It places camp counselors abroad, and they were in America working. :) I'm thinking about going to Britain next summer with the program. Or maybe I'll go to New Zealand and stalk Jango - I mean Temuera Morrison.

But it's still going to be Star Tours right, they're not like tearing it down?

BehrItAll 07-08-2008 06:17 PM

Juli, very cute pictures.
Ohh NZ sounds awesome. So does Britain. Tough choices.

Remodel! NO! Why? What are they doing to it?
It may look radical but it feels so good.
Any new pics from this weekend?

I don't think it's radical, it's not some crazy style and it looks cute. Besides, long hair gets so hot in the summer. Not that I would expect Jerry to sympathize. :P

Cryostar 07-09-2008 05:27 AM

I had long hair at one point, and I cut it all off to go "Business" like for a job...so I know radical. Usually hair is an important thing to people, you don't have that long of hair and get it chopped without a change somewhere else...it's a psychological thing. :P

As for pictures, yes, I'll have new pictures up this week (I hope).

Star Tours is like 15 years old now, in terms of rides, that's ancient...and lucasfilm sponsors it, so I think it's going to be replaced with something similar, but a bit more up to date, that might include the prequel movies and the new tv shows.

BehrItAll 07-09-2008 06:41 PM

Thank you Juli, and the long hair in the summer was so annoying to deal with.

Jerry how long was your hair?
Any pics?

I have done it so many times in my life I hardly care anymore. I am like good ridings.

As long as they don't get rid of the ride all together I can live. Do you know when they start this project?

Cryostar 07-11-2008 05:16 AM

At it's longest, it was down to my shoulder blades from the top of my head (my sides and back were shaved down to a zero). I think the last pictures I have are when it was around the top of my shoulders. I'll see if I can find them.

I wanted to say in the next 3-5 years it'll be remodeled into a new star wars ride.
