Just wanted to remind people that these books are out, or will be coming out and the covers have been revealed.

This is the 4th book of the on going series by Jude Watson, one of the best SW writers IMO. I read the book in one day, 130 pages, excellent as always. Review later. Book is available in stores now.

This is the cover of the 5th book in the series, not yet released. Looks promising, Jude Watson is an excellent story teller. Book out in August of 2006

The Cover of "Darth Bane: Path of Destruction". This sith novel will be out in Octorber of 2006. Those interested in the "old republic" materials will consider this a must read.

The newly redesigned cover for "Bloodlines", lets us know that a familiar character will be returning. It's going to be the second book in the new "SW Legacy Series", out in August of 2006. We all know that the first book, "Betrayal" will be out in June.

Yes it is

No, I didn't start. Instead, I got my book order from amazon.com,
Outbound Flight
Republic Commando: Triple Zero
Last of the Jedi4 Death on Naboo

I'm about 60 pages into "Triple Zero" right now, excellent and gritty like the first one.

Yay, they got to Coruscant, the heartbreaking part is coming up but it's a great cliffhanger as well.

Poor Bria has to get her head together. She wanted to jump! i didn't get to the heartbreak yet. Han just left for the bank and she's went back to bed.

how was Death on Naboo?

Stephanie...have you got to the "letter" yet? That' the best part IMO btw...the Han/Bria relationship is so well written in this trilogy, it will grip you from the moment they meet, till the moment...nevermind, it's too sad

Last of the Jedi#4, Death on Naboo was good. Typical Jude Watson. I know the books aren't "adult" per say, but all her work is a pleasure to read. Uncomplicated, action packed, character driven, and basically inclusive of SW characters in the EU. In this particular book, Ferus Olin escapes from prison, with some help...Obi-Wan doesn't appear but he's mentioned quite frequently. Inquisitor Malorum, has an interesting meeting with Sidious, then makes a surprise visit to Naboo, still investigating Padme's death, there is a great scene between Padme's grandmother and Malorum. I'm not gonna say what happens Crazy action at the end...with Ferus Olin, almost a Jedi knight and Malorum a dark side wanna be...fighting guess where?! In the generator area on Naboo...I love how Jude Watson incorporates things...brought back flashbacks of the legendary battle between Maul/Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon Jinn. Someone dies. The book ends in the most interesting cliffhanger, can't wait for the next one.

Definitely, a 4 out of 5 Lightsabers.

Jerry, I didn't forget, more like didn't have the information, so thank you for sharing it with us.

I think Jude Watson does a fantastic job, of including characters as often as she can, without "stretching" too much, or putting other writers in a bind.

I wish there was more information about the Coruscant Nights book Trilogy, there is very little known about those novels that are due in the near future. Will they include popular characters like Obi-Wan, Darth Vader and so on?

I read the part with the letter. So heartbreaking but I can understand what she means. She's too weak to be in a relationship. Poor Han, reacking the room. I have to finish the chapter before bed.
Does Bria appear in book 2?

nice spoliers for Death on Naboo.
you know I kinda wondered why no investigated Padme's death but to know it's dealt with in Jude's books makes me feel better. I wonder if any of the more adult novels will deal with it.
and speaking of that I also would like news on Courscant Nights

Hmm, does Bria appear in book2. Of course Book 2 "The Hutt Gambit" is even better than book1...so just wait.

Yes, Padme's death is investigated heavily in "Last of the Jedi" series. Obi-Wan is the one "in charge" of protecting the secret of the twin birth, but since he has to watch over Luke, asks Ferus Olin to do so in his place.

Jerry, if you have any insides into "Coruscant Nights" don't be shy, share the knowledge man

yay! how many months/years does 2 take place after 1?

So how much does Ferus know about Padme and her twins of Obi-Wan askes him to take over the investigation and protect the secret?

Actually I can't remember, but it's at least 4 years b/c of Han being in officer's training, he almost finishes it, and then the book itself takes place over about a year or two.

Basically, the first book in the trilogy is 10 years before ANH, and the last one leads you right into the cantina sequence on Mos Eisley in ANH.

See, so far, Ferus doesn't know anything about the twins. He just knows that "there is a secret" Obi-Wan entrusted him to protect. He doesn't know about the twins.
