And he would have a great awareness that you can have Light and Dark within you without having to be defined by a Side. You can still CHOOSE to be a good person, and not allow yourself to be controlled forever in that way that Palpatine controlled Anakin and Snoke controlled Kylo.

Maybe Ben turning into Kylo wasn't completely unavoidable, but maybe it wouldn't have gone so far if they talked more.

People who think that Ben betrayed his parents' trust and didn't appreciate them seriously need to read the novel. It fills in the blanks during Leia and Kylo's memories of how things actually were, or how he perceived them to be.

This is an interesting theory, but Ben was still Ben when the assassination happened. And also how would he know where and the exact moment to deliver the message
