The bravest thing the OT did was put them together They didn't go with the obvious pairing (Luke/Leia), they went for the dangerous/passionate pairing. It worked out for the best

Yes, I love how they challenged each other. These are one of my favourite relationships, I like when people challenge each other and push each other out of their comfort zones.

Same. There was no familiarity with Han; he was constantly surprising her, and she loved it.

Agree 100%! It would've been so boring to have Luke/Leia, so expected. Han/Leia was a surprise and the chemistry between Harrison and Carrie made such a difference too

Yes Even in ANH, I could tell that she would have the stronger dynamic with Han. The way Carrie responded to Harrison in scenes had an immediate spark. They were the couple who you could tell would love to hate, and hate to love, each other
