Personally, I liked the two new movies a lot better than the Prequel Trilogy, but I was disappointed that the original cast wasn’t utilized too much in The Force Awakens, and I hated that Han Solo was killed by his own son. I really liked the way Rogue One tied into A New Hope.

I've found the new films to be in general disappointing and not very convincing. I can even believe that Han didn't die, seeing as it happened in a film that didn't convince me much in general. Certainly the new films are better made than the Prequels, but I'm not sure that's saying much. Still, the Prequels are fractionaly more Star Wars to me than the new ones, seeing as they were done by Lucas, even though I feel he invalidated his authorial voice with them and the Special Editions and those aren't really Star Wars to me either. The cast of the new trilogy are likeable, even though I don't find myself attached to the new characters. Everybody on this board probably knows by now that I've got problems with Rey. I'm inclined to feel that this new Star Wars has problems in its attitude towards women and its portrayal of them, though I'm sure there are other people who will disagree. Portrayal of women is one of the areas where screenwriters and directors in genreral most often fall short. Not everybody can portray female characters as well as Game of Thrones.

Yeah tv shows have a tendency to put women against each other.

Definitely the fans, they got along and trusted each other, even with a guy in between them

That's what I loved them being friends but I'm intrigued by the conflict around Black Siren/Felicity

Well, SW never put women against each other not even for love triangles, I appreciate that.
