Iwas talking to a friend today about Han supposedly being killed off in TFA. Her view is if Leia is there when it happens, Chewie should take her away to safety and let Luke fight Han's killer. I think I like that idea now moreso than Chewie getting sliced up while trying to avenge Han.

Why can't Leia avenge Han with a lightsaber?
I guess they haven't given her one. I don't think Luke is going to be on the scene. __________________

If it's a proper lightsabr it'll leave the whacking to baseball bats and concentrate on cleaving their heads open like any self-respecting laser blade would.
