I agree, it's hard to imagine someone else playing Han. I'm not that excited for it either, so I can only be suprised positively. I'm going with an open mind to the theater.

I think it's soooo adorable how he's misunderstanding Leia's feelings for Luke and he just says he'll back away and let her be happy, I mean, talk about character growth

I just love the look on his face when Leia explains it to him.

That was so amazing and sweet.

It only shows how much he loves her, when he just wants her to be happy, even if it's not with him.

I'm not a huge Pacey/Joey fan but it reminded me of that Dawson's Creek finale scene where Pacey tells Joey "I just want you to be happy, no matter who it's with" - Han was being so self-sacrificing in that scene and telling Leia "I'm not going to make a scene, all that matters is that you're happy in life. I'll be happy, just knowing that."

That's true! I am a Pacey/Joey fan and it is very similar. But Han says it in a very Han way: "I won't get in the way."

Han always had his own great way of saying things

I feel as if his speech to Leia in that ROTJ scene was his most genuine and normal. His simple "I won't stand in the way." He values Leia's happiness and Luke's friendship so much that he wouldn't interfere
