Might I just add my sentiment that the Prequels were pretty entertaining for me even with their percieved flaws. They made me a hardcore SW fan even though I grew up on the OT. Having then-new films inspired me in my fandom. Thanks for starting this thread!

Thanks for this thread! I know this is a VERY unpopular opinion, especially around here, but I enjoyed the prequels overall. The admittedly awful dialogue aside, the storyline and the new characters were fun, and I liked seeing how various things in the OT came to be

You're welcome! I've had a complicated relationship with them myself, I learned to accept and appreciate them though. I plan to rewatch them this week.

I think it is very nice for us prequel fans to have a place to discuss the trilogy and what we see in them that sadly not many here seem to see.
I was almost ready to give up this forum as everyone seemed down on me liking Hayden Christensen

Honestly the things I love about the prequels are usually things that even prequel fans find crazy, so I get stuck in a really weird place For example, I ship certain couples in it like Anakin/Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan/Maul, Obi-Wan/Padme... *waits for reactions*

I first heard of Obi/Padme shipping before Episode III came out and I was fine with others preferring that couple. There was even speculation going years back now that suggested Anakin and Obi Wan migt be in a love triangle with Padme. The others you mention are out there but again whatever floats your boat.

Tell us more about your love for Obi Wan. When did it start and with which of the Prequels? How old were you when you saw the movies?
