I think what we can all agree on though (whether we prefer the more stunt like PT duels or the more classic OT duels), is that the ST totally lacks lightsaber duels. While the force awakens still had one decent duel, episode 8 (forgot the title ) had no real duel at all. You could totally see rian johnsons was not an SW fan and never saw the other movies.

I did find that the end of RoTS lightsaber felt long but maybe it’s also cause it had the Yoda one vs Palpatine

The lightsaber duels in the OT are for real, rather than being a lot of overdone show like in the Prequels.

Yes that is true maybe, but I mean in the end everything concerning lightsaber battles in OT and PT is better than in the ST so far.

Well, you're doing it on the wrong thread. This is the thread for criticising the Prequels, not defending them. Defending the object of an unappreciation thread on its unappreciation thread is like going into an appreciation thread and bashing the object of appreciation there. It's trolling. I've been a regular poster on multiple FF unappreciation threads going back most of 20 years. I know all the relevant rules.

Must remember we have unappreciation for both trilogies where if you want to speak of not liking sequel duels than would be best to do it in its unappreciation and remember this is a thread for prequel unappreciation

where comparing prequel vs sequel duels is where this is coming from sum think just a little mixing of the two trilogies

Honestly I'm comparing the duels in prequel and sequel trilogy. I can do it either here or in the sequel unpapreciation thread, but either way part of the conversation will be off topic.

Don’t think he is it’s just that he knows very well what he can and can not do related to criticism/unappreciation which he loves to do and gets very passionate about it especially here on Star Wars about the unappreciation

I just think for sequel duels and lack of, its best to keep to the sequel unappreciation and just criticism the prequel duels in this thread. I don’t think there really needs to be comparing when it comes to sequel vs prequel duels especially if it’s going to cause an argument like it just did

Well I just wanted to compare it. I don't see a big deal tbh. But some people on FF and forums in general are horribly unflexible and conversations can't take some off topic turns and it all has to follow some narrow protocol. I find that annoying. I honestly can't with such people, I think I can get along well with you though. But I also miss the other mod, the conversations were more fluent and fun before. Sorry to say it this directly I don't want to offend you though. But maybe I should move on from the board. Sum is too bent on the rules, I'm too hot-headed, not the best combination. Don't want to cause more trouble.

Will come back though once the new movie comes out to talk about it a bit.
