| Wow, thank you guys.  New thread! I like Natalie Portman the best in Star Wars movie, she portrayed the Padme character really well. | |||

| Well, I can appreciate Natalie for acting the part of Padme, no one else could have done it. However, I can't say I was really a fan of Padme's character, especially by ROTS. I suppose in TPM she wasn't so bad, I actually sympathized with her (a bit). But by AOTC, I couldn't stand her interaction with Anakin. And ROTS was worse. So,  for Natalie, but meh for Padme. | |||

| Fan Forum's Finest | I actually don't know who else was up for the role of Padmé. That is something I'd have to look in to... But I know I can't picture anyone else in the role but Natalie. So perfect casting in my opinion. I love her character no matter what. She got a poor deal in RotS. AotC I thought she was still a very strong character. __________________ | |||

| Yeah well.. Natalie did a great job at it.. If i would of had the books before they even did the movies.. I would of said they did a good job finding the right person haha.. well in AOTC she had very strong Opionons and same with EPI Oviously.. Lucas did a great job with changing the characters as the story Progressed. Made Padme into someone that was careing.. In Ep1 she was abit stuck up.. though she was only 16 i guess, but still.... It was a great way.. ROTS was great.. Oviously i see why they didnt show much of Padme, cause it was 100% about Anikin and how i turned to the darkside.. that was the main story... I wish they could of showed the most screwed up parts of the story.. They didnt even write them  when Anikin slaughtered the younglings.. Lucas wanted it to be Pg13... lol.. witch was a good thing.. cause yeah.. the only starwars movie Rated R haha | |||

| I'm also disappointed of the lack of Padme scenes in ROTS...In the Episode I and II, she was more visible and her character was stronger. But in ROTS, she died because she lost her will to live, due to a broken heart. And yet she still have some reasons to stay alive: her children and family.But still, I love Padme! | Well I am sure, If the make another Bio of Padme, I am sure they will make a story based durring the Clone Wars tell the last days in ROTS.. Possibly tell her feelings and thoughts.. Much like how Mathew Stover did with Anikin in the ROTS book | |||
