I dont get why they seemingly dumbed the character down like they did. I still liked her bit I dont get the change. Who else thinks Nat is hot?

Oh yes! She was fantastic hot with that pink wig! Her hot ness factor was all over the place Cant say that about all her other performances.

With the others I've seen, it's more about focusing on her talent. On Closer, she's great, but she's REALLY hot so the focus goes there At least to me.

Yeah she is meant to be seen, meant to be hot in Closer than maybe in some other movies where she isnt.

there is an old one where she was a kid called Anywhere but Here..she worked with Susan Sarandon...I should watch it sometime again...lol

I think she was great as Padme/Amidala, and that she is a terrific actor overall. Even let down by the weak scripts for the prequels and having to act opposite a charmless piece of wood, she put in a strong performance

She was undermined greatly in the later two Prequels. Lucas really messed up her character.

Yeah she's an incredible actress who got a bad script and bad directing, unfortunately.

Hayden wasn't the problem, Darth. He had nothing to do with the scripts or with Nat being written in a different way in the latter 2 prequels.

That's a matter of opinion. An actor's acting is often influenced by the acting of those they're acting with. Many people feel Hayden's acting feel far short of satisfactory.
