I can talk of the animated The Clone Wars associated to Satine and Ventress where believe the popular vote in the fandom is Ventress but I also loved his interactions with Satine where if Ewan|fans get their way - would love a live action movie about their backstory|background

So no idea if comics|books have anything further

Couldn't find anything regarding the Origins of when she was created so NO idea if he's from the comics or books world - I just found an origins story and details of the character
