Bollocks to you too. You're in no position to judge, because you weren't familiar with those two characters before you saw McKellan's versions of them. McKellan's version of them influenced how you see those characters, biasing you to be in favour of his interpretations. Whereas those characters were important to me nearly half a decade before you were born and long before the movies misinterpreted them.

Well you must have forgotten it all before you saw the movies if you could buy McKellan as Gandalf.

And you may notice I've got you on Magneto.

I did not forget anything In fact I reread them before seeing the movies so everything was fresh in my mind.

Yeah I wasn't into comics when I first saw X-Men.

Must have been the drink then.

Yeah, your whole idea of what Magneto is supposed to be like is influenced by McKellan.

I don't see how that's justified.

Would you want Ewan and Hayden to do a live-action Clone Wars movie if it were possible? I saw this post on IMDb where some uber Clone Wars fan asked the question. Basically, there are apparently some fans who want a proper Clone Wars movie in live-action with both actors taking part. I am all down for that but dont take it too seriously, as it's been ten years since they last played those roles. But it is fun to speculate, nevertheless!

Well, certainly nearly anything is possible with all the spinoffs Disney wants to do from the main episodes....
