What's it about?

Ewan McGregor plays a guy who finds out his dad is gay. His dad eventually dies. It deals with the gay subject matter very well and Christopher Plummer got an Oscar for playing the dad. There's also a romance between McGrergor's character and a character played by Melanie Laurent, who's very good. She's the one who played the Jewish woman in Inglorious Basterds. She's a French Jewish actress. I like Melanie so I enjoyed the romance. The film is very low-key with a beautiful melancholy aspect. It also has a sense of humor, notably revolving around the dog. Definitely an intelligent film.

Yeah I remember one of the features/interviews/whatever saying that the structure of their nose was the same which is rare.

It's not so much that they're similar it was some sort of bone thing that gave them the same facial proportions, I don't remember it well
