Hmm...the first thing I always remember Alec for is Lawrence of Arabia.
 So it helps me appreciate his greatness as Ben without getting fixated. |

Obi-Wan is and always will be my all-time favorite Star Wars character. Well, next to Han, of course.
 Ewan was amazing in Ep. III -- Obi-Wan goes through so much, and it breaks my heart.  |

Well, I walked into Episode III as someone who liked the character of Obi-Wan, with both the actors that played him. I walked out declaring him my favorite character in all of Star Wars. Wow. I keep thinking of Padme's line to Anakin -- "You're breaking my heart" -- and how that could just as much been said by Obi-Wan. And my own heart was breaking for him. I just felt so terrible for him and what he had to do.
So, any recommendations to feed my new obsession? I'm really only familiar with the movies, so are there any Star Wars books that focus on Obi-Wan? Fan fiction recommendations? Nifty avatars (even though I can't use them on this board  )? |

There are a couple of obi won books...Approaching Storm is one of them.

I just came back from watching Ep 3 and I have to say...
OBI WAN IS AWESOME I can't say enough about this movie. I felt really bad for Obi when he said "I love you" and "you were the chosen one" and when he told Yoda that he couldn't kill Ani. I wanted to kill Anakin when he said "I hate you". I personally find it impossible to hate Obi. God, he's the best  |
