Another thing that I see is that Rian Johnson is greatly underestimated by some fans of Star Wars. He's the guy known for his big twists. It certainly not gonna change cause this is Star Wars and that Disney took over. It was said that what Rian is going to do with the next movie is "weird". Don't expect the obvious from him. Rian Johnson probably won't get to decide who ey's related to. That's probably already worked out.

There is no such a thing as "jedi attachment rule" anymore. Anakin fell in love, got married and had kids. Obi Wan Kenobi had a relationship with duchess Satine. Luke was with Mara Jade.

Mara Jade was not in any work that Disney considers canon. Kenobi's involvement with Satine was limited. Anakin's involvement with Padme led to him going Dark and would be seen by Jedi as a reason not to have attachments.
