New Jedi Order: Force Heretic I: Refugee by Sean Williams and Shane Dix
This book was so much better than it's predecessor. Easier and more interesting to read. The pace was good and stories were interesting. Which surprised because not only did I dislike Remnant but Han, Leia and Co. when to Bakura, and the last novel that took place there, I did not enjoy. But it was actually a good political plot with a few twists. I did not see the twist at the end with the

The best part was Luke, Mara, Jacen and Co in Chiss space! Squee! They have 2 days to research where the moving planet is, Zonama Sekot, and are taken to their big library. And what do they find there? BOOKS! LOL And Jacen thought they were bricks! It was so funny. That was my favorite part. I also enjoyed the parts with Nom Anor leading the Shamed Ones in a heratic revolution. Of course it is all for his own gain, but I am on their side. And I liked that those parts didn't drag on, b/c it could have become redundant. It was edited just right so only the necessary story points were told. Still don't like the way the book is broken up with no chapter breaks, but part II was a much easier read. 4.5 out 5 Chiss resource books |
